The summer of 2011 saw a LOT of traveling! Ed created a travelogue entitled "Stephen King's Colorado" based on his photography of Boulder and Estes Park, CO. He gave a webinar on building travelogues in support of the Ohio Library Council's summer reading program, "Novel Destinations", and  presented the program at a number of libraries across the state.


Elaine T. Cicora from Scene Magazine interviewed Ed about his Stephen King program. Check out Ode to Stephen King.


He also repeated his 2 day workshop on Crisp Communications for the Kent State School of Library and Information July15-16 in Kent. He will be conducting it again in Kent on June 8-9, 2012.


Ed is the 2010 winner of the Public Librarian Support Award, a conference travel award administered by the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) for public librarians who provide business reference services. RUSA award notice


October 2010 was a busy month!

Friday Oct. 8 he spoke at the Dayton Public Library staff day.

Wednesday Oct. 13th he presented at the West Virginia Library Association Annual Conference.

He conducted a  2 day workshop on Crisp Communications for the Kent State School of Library and Information Oct. 15-16  in Columbus. Participants learned skills needed to take advantage of the efficiencies of print and online channels to enhance staff and public communication. 



On May 6, 2010, Ed was part of a panel discussion on The Future of Libraries, Books and Reading, hosted by Twinsburg Public Library.
